I am an experienced freelance translator working from German into English.

I was born in the UK, studied at the Universities of Cambridge and Moscow, and completed my doctorate in linguistics in London. Since 1994 I have been working as a language teacher and translator. Most recently, I was employed as in-house translator for McKinsey & Company, Düsseldorf.

My translating spectrum is broad. I regularly work in the areas of business strategy, sales and marketing, insurance, consulting, production, human resources and the automotive industry.

I deal with all types of documents, including articles, chart-based presentations, reports, surveys and general correspondence. Most of my work is in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
